I recently went to see Did You Hear About The Morgans, staring Sarah Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant. Both still have their great acting talent but this films isn't their best choice.I'm still playing catch up by the way, but hopefully I won't be for much longer lol. Anyway, its not too bad, but its nothing special. Unless you love this kind of genre your bound to not be impressed.
It's about a couple, the main stars, going through a divorce due to him cheating. Problem is though that he wants her back, but she isn't interested and instead pushes all her attention to her thriving estate business.
On her way to meet client, with her husband following, attempting to sort things out between them, they witness a murder. The assassin spots them and soon attmpts to tie off the loose ends, by killing them.
The couple initially refuse relocation by the witness protection progamme because they were too busy in the city, with work and other engagments. But after the assasin finds her and tries to kill her, they are left with no other option.
So they are sent off together until seperate locations and arrangements can be made. During this time stuck together, with no phones or external contact, they get to know each other again and enjoy each others company.
They soon forgive the past and after a last battle with the assasin, who tracked them down again, they realise that they want to be with each other, and are in love, more than they thought.
It's pretty much your typical love story, with a few funny bits thrown in, like when they wear stetson hats. Though most of the funny parts are a bit weak.
